Foire aux questions
The plants for sale in the shop are all grown by me and come from my own production. My mother plants come from Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and some have also been imported. The mother plants have been in my possession for a long time and are mostly not for sale.
My focus is on breeding my own anthurium hybrids. All seedlings come from my own mother plants. The mother plants are pollinated directly by hand, the seeds ripen for several months before being harvested and finally grown by myself.
We are a company certified by the FOAG (Federal Office of Agriculture) and each of our plants is delivered with a plant passport. The plant passport system in Switzerland and the EU (European Union) protects plants against dangerous pests and diseases and ensures greater safety. The plant passport is an official document that confirms that certain plant products are healthy and comply with regulations. A plant passport is always mandatory for shipping plants, whether for commercial or private purposes.
To prevent pests, I constantly use beneficial insects. The hard-working insects include ladybirds, predatory mites, predatory bugs and chalcid wasps. Most beneficial insects are very small and difficult to see. If there is something small crawling on your plant, it is probably one of my beneficial insects. If it bothers you, you can wash the plant once, but I advise you to let the beneficial insects continue their work.
